Apogee is actively seeking a full-time (Joint Task Force Non-Lethal Fires Senior Planner) supporting Air Combat Command (ACC) Rear Mission Support Element (9th AF RMSE) division at Shaw Air Force Base, SC. Apogee willprovide program management and contract support that will result in a core JTF HQ staff that is mission-ready to Organize, Train, and Equip the Joint Force. This initiative will alleviate the burden the US Army (USA) has been carrying in fulfilling the recurring OCONUS JTF HQ role. Basing the team out of Shaw AFB, collocated with ARCENT will allow for efficient and frequent interchanges regarding the Joint HQ composed primarily of USA and USAF personnel.

Joint Task Force Non-Lethal Fires Senior Planner

  • Train Joint Task Force (JTF) personnel regarding current and predicted operational environments, missions, and requirements. Support approximately 6 classes per year with a notional class size of 40 personnel. Provide instruction in accordance with the Government-provided syllabus
  • Assist Joint Task Force Effects Coordinator Senior Planner to research, analyze, and assess current and predicted operational environments, missions, and requirements to ensure capabilities remain relevant to the current or predicted warfighter needs
  • Assist Joint Task Force Conceptual Operational Plans, Training, and Execution Senior Planner to review, develop, and prepare JTF CONOPs, conceptual operational plans, and proper execution of JTF process execution
  • Assist Master Scheduler/Event Coordinator by attending exercise planning conferences to include development, initial, mid, and final planning conferences for at least 3 exercises per year
  • Assist Curriculum Senior Planner to advise and assist with an annual Syllabus Review Conference to provide input and changes to Rear Mission Support Element (RMSE) course syllabi
  • Assist Curriculum Senior Planner to review, coordinate, and prepare JTF Stan Eval Master Question Files (MQF)

Qualifications

  • Top Secret security clearance with SCI - required
  • Bachelor's Degree required (Master's degree desired) from an accredited college or university
  • 8 years Rated operations experience or Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Officer/Air Liaison Officer 12 years desired
  • 2 years of experience in the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP) - required
  • 2 years as the Chief of Non-Lethal Fires/Information Operations on a Joint HQ - desired
  • 1 year of experience within a ground maneuver staff and/or Special Operations Forces - desired
