U.S. Bank Marketing Analytics & Insights Manager in Columbia, South Carolina

This position will be required to gather data from a variety of sources, aggregate it into meaningful results and provide trend observations and recommendations to the Corporate and Commercial Business marketing leadership team.

Core position responsibilities

Analyze marketing and sales campaign performance, provide statistical reports and suggest improvements as needed

Establish dashboard and best practices for metrics reporting to disseminate to internal departments and executive leadership around marketing and sales metrics for Corporate and Commercial Business

Conduct closed-loop reporting/ROI reporting to tie marketing’s efforts to sales revenue

Querying data, analyzing results, developing impactful reports and discussing business implications with the Corporate and Commercial Business marketing leadership team

Leverage data to tell a business story

Proactively conduct research to understand our customers’ journeys and stay on top of trends and developments in digital marketing



  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 7 years’ experience in research and analytics; specific experience in marketing data and analytics preferred

  • Proven track record of strong project management skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize various responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines

  • Flexibility to effectively deal with unexpected assignments and changes to workload based on management priorities

  • Strong understanding of marketing and campaign management from idea inception through execution and analysis, with focus on digital KPI performance and optimization

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate.

  • Able to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly; able to explain it to both business & IT stakeholders.

  • Solid understanding of data in CRM Salesforce for segmentation

  • Ideal candidates will be able to think big-picture, have experience with a variety of data sources and technology platforms
