Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional nurse responsible for the delivery of patient
care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse directs and guides care and treatment of patients,patient and family education, coordination and management of continuum of care/discharge planning.
The Registered Nurse ensures that recommendations from ancillary professionals are followed and care is coordinated with other departments. The Registered Nurse maintains standards of professional nursing practice and standards of professional nursing practice
and standards of patient care established by the hospital.
